Perth Panthers 1 Paisley Pirates 12
Pirates then first footed Perth Panthers and visited Aviemore forthe first time since their Scot One days. Pirates maintained their policy of icing juniors, Chris Wishart and Andrew Heggie in the line up and again have Damien Orr in goal. It's one way traffic from the start. Lynch opening the scoring from close range at 33.55 and Swan netting from the left circle at 12.03. Seven seconds later sees the first penalty, Plews for Hooking and Wishart gets on the scoresheet on the powerplay at 13.02.

Second period and Lynch sets up Heggie at 22.09 and 2 minutes later Jonsonn makes it 6-0. Panthers then had their best spell. Gray and O'Connor going close but again Pirates next to score. Swan setting up Robertson at 29.19.
A clash at 30.01 sees Heggie (Elbows) and Plews (Slashing) in the box.
Hoggan also replaced Goodsir in nets for Perth at this time and he's quickly in action stopping Robertson in front, although be almost put the puck in his own net shortly afterwards! Two in a minute from Simpson 38 and 39.13) completed the period scoring. This was too much for Panthers skipper Latto and he took a 10-minute Misconduct.
Unfortunately he went straight to the dressing room and referee Hanson added a Game Misconduct for Leaving the Penalty Bench.
Pirates turn to take penalties at the start of the third, Wilson (41.06) and Lindahl (43.32) for High Sticks. The latter negated by O'Connor for Slashing. Wilson also took a Tripping call al 46.51 but Panthers couldn't capitalise. Hall then scored a fine solo goal but unfortunately his shot went in and out of the neck too quickly and no official saw it. Jonsonn then skates in, drops to Robertson for his second at 52.17.
