So Jesse what are your earliest memories in hockey?
My father shooting frozen tomatoes at me in my pram when I was about 2 years old back on the pond.

Who was your idol as a kid?
Wayne Gretzky,

Who do you admire now?
Still Gretzky but in the U.K. it would be Shawn Byram (Ayr Eagles) who was the key in getting me over here. Also Kevin King and Jason Porter from Peterborough.

Why, when, and where did you start playing hockey?
When I was about 4 years old in Kitimat, BC. My father was coaching for years - I watched him coach and that got me into it

Who inspired you the most to play pro hockey?
My father - he told me to make a go of it and I went up from being a junior

What teams have you played for?
I've played for Golden Junior Rockets, Beaver Valley Nighthawks, Nelson Junior Leafs,The Valley junior Warriors, and Kimberly Dynamiters. Over here I've played for Peterborough Pirates and Milton Keynes Kings.

Do you plan to help with the Paisley's Junior Development? Yeah, definitely I was doing it with Peterborough and Milton Keynes. I've already been out with the under 18's.

Do you have any words of advice for young players wanting to play pro hockey?
Just work hard, any dream that you have can be attained. It doesn't matter what level you play at. there are always people watching to give you opportunities.

What persuaded you to come to the U.K. to play?
I was supposed to play in Sweden and I sent my resume to the U.K., Shawn Byram seen it and passed it on to Troy Walkington in Peterborough. I also thought it would be an easier adjustment, it would also further my career and I have family in the U.K..

Why did you decide to sign for Paisley?
Stirling's approach to the game, his belief in my ability and he told me I could play a big role in the team.

What do you like about Paisley so far?
The atmosphere in the dressing room, they are a great bunch of guys.

What would you be doing if you weren't playing hockey?
I can't see myseff doing anything else but this.

What are the best points of your game?
My heart and desire, and my defensive zone.

And the worst?
My skating and my lack of scoring touch.

What are your ambitions in hockey?
To play for as long as I love the game and then move into coaching pro hockey.

If you could wish for anything what would you wish for?
I'm already doing it.

What's been you most embarrassing moment off the ice?
Jim McLean and Shania Twain
