So John what are your earliest memories in hockey?
Having freezing cold feet on a Friday night practice in Dundee when I was 5.

Who inspired you the most to play senior hockey?
My dad - he told me to gee my finger out and get good.

Why did you start playing hockey?
I wasn't good enough at football and too lazy to get a real job.

Do you plan to help with the Junior Development?
Not this year.

Do you have any words of advice for other young players?
Don't listen to your parents, parents think their kids are better than others.

What are your ambitions in hockey?
To have a reasonably successful career and not to get sacked this year.

Have you always played forward or have you played in any other position?
I played in every position in Juniors except a goalie.

What was your reason for coming back to Paisley?
No one else wanted me!

Why do you wear the number 18?
I had it when I was 12 and it stuck.

If you could play for any other team where would you go?
Dundee and Abroad.

What would you be doing if you weren't playing hockey?
Struggling!

Now and again.

Everytime I go on the ice!

A separated shoulder.
