We were at the Sharks match on Saturday night and I have to say that it was one of the best games of Hockey I've seen all season. Both teams played well and it was good to see that there weren't many penalties from each side. Hope to make it to Dumfries tonight so let's hope the Pirates do well. Helen

Good game from the pirates last night. The draw was great for both teams as they really played well. Cath

Are there any midweek games this week. Norrie

My wife and myself have just started going to see your team when they moved to braehead. Great entertainment for a Saturday night. Didn't realise there were a lot of kids at the match. We will be bringing our two to the next match at braehead.

Good luck Pirates at Dumfries. I hope you win the cup. Joe F

I was wondering if the Paisley Pirates would be interested in having a cheerleading team on ice? We are a skating company and put together ice shows and exhibitions. I thought something like that would be a little bit different and add a touch of glamour. I've attached a photo for you. Let me know your thoughts Kindest Regards Kirsty. Are there any tryouts for your team and if so what is the skill level? I will be living in Glasgow until July 2009. Thank you in advance, Michael Watters

Hi, I am visiting glasgow a few days and would like to know, if there is a home game 12-16/december 2006 ? I can´t find any information ? Is there a team this year Thanks a lot !! Stefan

Hi, I would like to order a t shirt or jersey of your team, could not find anything on your site. Is it possible to do so?I would like it for a christmas present for my boyfriend, who follows your team from here in canada. Thanks Allison Harry

I am looking for a contact person involved with the players of the pirates. I am from Canada and am interested in coming over seas to play hockey. I have a lot of hockey experience here in Canada at the Junior and University Level. I have family in Greenock and over the past while have developed an interest in coming over. If you could put me in contact with the appropriate person it would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time. Trevor Alto Regional Sales Director

As most of you are now aware, this Saturday 28th October v Manchester Phoenix will be my last game with the Bison team. This is just a quick note to say thanks to you all for all your help, co-operation and business during my time here in Basingstoke. Without the help, co-operation and business that so many of you have provided over my time here I could not have achieved what I have here with the Bison. Unfortunately, family ties in the north and the financial and emotional strain that was putting on myself and my family are the motivating reasons behind my leaving the team, and I hope to cross paths with many of you in the future. For those wishing to keep in contact personally, this e-mail address will remain active for some time - my personal e-mail address is phil.andrews@buiha.org.uk. Phil

My son (Aged 10) is interested in ice hockey lessons, can you advise us where to go. Also, what are the 2006 fixtures for Paisley Pirates, are there any now that the Lagoon is closed? Called the Lagoon but they wouldn't give me any information. Thanks Dawn Brennen

I thought the Lagoon Centre was closing last season to allow work to be done on the ice surface. Wasn't the match at Kilmarnock supposed to be the last ''home'' match for the Pirates and the Lagoon Centre was supposed to be back to normal soon after that match. James McDonald

As the Lagoon Centre ice rink is now closed for repairs where are you going to be playing your home games. Morton

hi just seen a hockey game fight it was brilliant, what rink do the pirates play at and what days do you play please could you email me over a timetable many thanks dan

Hello My name is Barbara McLachlan, I am visiting with my husband and sons from America until August 30th. We are hardcore hocky fans, and I am looking to purchase jerseys of Scottish teams. We stopped by the Lagoon and were told to contact the team this way. Can you help us? please contact us ASAP as our time here is short. E-mail address here is dorothy.mcbride@homecall.co.uk Thank you. Barbara McLachlan

My name is Gunnar Wallin and I'm the head coach for Hisingen islander. We are interested to come over and play some friendly games the best for us would be if we could play in the lagoon one game against your team and 2 more games against some other team during a stay for 3 nights in Paisley. I have been over with other teams and I'm a old friend of Lachie Mclean. We are playing in the 3 division in Gothenburg last season we ended up at the 4 position of 12 teams. Its a very young team this year most of the players are born 1988 and the oldest player is 1979. The best time is at the end of this season when all the serie games are over, for us it will end in the middle of march Gunnar Wallin

Other than Ray Boucher or Ted McCaskill, has anyone have any information on the players from the late 50's? Anne

Hi Just a quick query, we met a guy in Magalluf last year and he claimed to play for the Paisley Pirates. His name was Phil, we never got his last name. I have just looked on the web site and could not find anyone called Phil, was this guy romancing or did anyone called Phil play for you in the last couple of years. Thanks Lee
